So, I got back from the future today… And here’s what I discovered…

In 2015, there are fewer statues people bow before;
but idol worship is more alive today, than in the past.

The difference is — we’ve left the apparent stone and wood carvings,
and we’ve considered other men — gods.

In the future, other men will cease to be our gods;
and we’ll each be left with the ultimate god — ourselves.

That, has always been the destination.

The lesson we learned from wooden and stone gods in the past, is reinforced today by celebrity entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes (in the Bay Area); and mega-church founder and pastor — Kong Hee (in Singapore).

And with this lesson, we’ll cease to make other men, gods.

But we will only learn the lesson in part.
Because in the future, we will all be gods.

We will all consider ourselves superhuman and immortal.
Connected, empowered, equal.

We will be gods.
We will be proud and peerless.

And like the gods we made before us, we will be doomed.
